== Description ==

ServerBuddy by PluginBuddy.com tests server configuration to look for problems with hosting configuration and determine compatibility with various

WordPress themes and plugins. Additionally it provides easy to understand explanations of various server settings and generates

reports and samples of what to ask your hosting provider if a problem is found with any server configuration that needs fixed.

ServerBuddy is designed to be extremely powerful but still provide information in an easy to understand way for even a novice.

Developers of themes and plugins for WordPress may submit definition files for ServerBuddy to allow users to test that a theme

or plugin has compatibility with their server.

== Screenshots ==

1. Analysis results are displayed by default in a tabular format for easy viewing. Simple color indicators are displayed to indicate each test result. Information is available for each test by hovering over the 'i' Information icon.

2. Results may optionally be displayed as text only in a textarea for easy copying and pasting into another application or email.  An 'Email Report' button is available with each test to quickly email a text only version.

3. A `WordPress Information` feature provides an easy to understand, yet powerful, set of information to quickly survey the settings of a WordPress install or share them with a developer to debug problems or plugin incompatibilities.

== Installation ==

The automatic plugin installer should work for most people. Manual installation is easy and takes fewer than five minutes.

1. Upload the ServerBuddy directory frin the ServerBuddy ZIP file into your plugins directory.
2. Activate the plugin through the 'Plugins' menu in WordPress.
3. Follow any other on-screen directions.
